Volunteer Business or Legal Intern

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with CAFE. Too many small businesses have been negatively affected by COVID-19 and our changing economy. At CAFE, we are leading the way to support these small businesses by providing business and legal advice free of charge. 

Legal Intern

The CAFE legal intern helps us serve the needs of our beneficiaries by writing website informational summaries on legal topics and assisting with research, drafting, and editing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, under the supervision of a licensed attorney.  This is a remote position. The intern will need to use their own computer. CAFE interns volunteer 5-10 hours a month, 1-2 hours a week on average. The schedule is flexible and ideal for students who need to work around exams and other deadlines. This is a volunteer opportunity that offers exposure to real business law issues, and a chance to help struggling small businesses during this challenging time.

Business Intern

The CAFE business intern helps us serve the needs of our beneficiaries by writing website informational summaries on business topics, assisting with marketing, research, social media, and outreach, and helping to create business plans and more for real beneficiaries under the supervision of a licensed business attorney. This is a remote position. The intern will need to use their own computer. CAFE interns volunteer 5-10 hours a month, 1-2 hours a week on average. The schedule is flexible and ideal for students who need to work around exams and other deadlines. This is a volunteer opportunity that offers exposure to real business issues, and a chance to help struggling small businesses during this challenging time.
